Korean fashion e-commerce company Musinsa is accelerating AI adoption across all operations — development, operations, content, and personalization. Since late 2024 the company has raised “AI literacy” across teams (called Team Musinsa, including brands like 29CM and Soldout) to improve service quality and respond faster in the competitive market. Developers use AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, and Joonie) for code generation and analysis, while planners, designers, and operations teams analyze fashion big data to spot trends and produce marketing images and videos. AI also supports global expansion with review translation and multilingual features. Internally, Musinsa ran an AI hackathon “MUSNSAI” (사내 해커톤) and showcased ChatGPT-based product recommendation and review-summarizing demos at OpenAI’s DevDay Exchange Seoul. The company is hiring broadly for backend, frontend, ML, SRE, data, and product roles to build AI capabilities. Musinsa’s tech VP says strengthening AI literacy is essential to boost efficiency and deliver better shopping experiences domestically and abroad.
