'Ballantine's 40-Year The Moment' Arrives in Korea — Limited to 10 Bottles

Pernod Ricard Korea has released the third chapter, 'The Moment,' of the Ballantine's 40-Year Masterclass Collection in South Korea. This ultra-premium limited series was conceived from whiskies specially aged by former master blender Jack Gaudy and finished by current master blender Sandy Hyslop, each chapter blending only once from spirit aged at least 40 years and limited globally to 108 bottles. For 'The Moment' Hyslop chose malt from the Miltonduff distillery (a single malt distinct from Glenburgie) to highlight Ballantine’s bright, elegant character, with flavors of caramelized apple, fresh orange, vanilla custard, soft fudge and fine milk chocolate, finished at cask strength to showcase deep maturation. The bottle comes in a handcrafted wood cabinet and features a 3D paper artwork by Scottish artist Kyla McCallum. Only 10 bottles have been allocated to Korea, targeting whisky enthusiasts and collectors.
