Utah, which previously hosted the successful 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and Park City, is preparing to host the 2034 Winter Olympics (Feb 10–26). To boost tourism and support Korean travel industry partners, the Utah Office of Tourism will launch a Korean-language version of its online training program, the “Utah Specialist Academy,” on Nov. 24. The interactive, image- and video-focused platform teaches travel agents about Utah’s attractions, outdoor activities, scenic landscapes and local insider routes recommended by Utah experts. Graduates receive an official “Utah Specialist” certificate; the first 100 certificants completing the program will receive a 10,000 KRW Starbucks gift voucher during a promotional period (Nov. 24–Dec. 31).
