E-Land World said it is minimizing customer disruption after a fire on Nov. 15 damaged its Cheonan fashion logistics center (물류센터). Most of the fire has been extinguished and there were no casualties, but the building, logistics infrastructure and seasonal inventory were lost. The company is using other group and rented logistics facilities, including E-Land Retail’s centers and sites in Bupyeong and Osan, to resume shipments. Winter new arrivals already at nationwide stores and some port stock help ease shortages. E-Land is speeding up factory production, canceling some online orders with individual customer notifications, and will ship items that can be sent from other stores or facilities. A planned Black Friday event will proceed flexibly by brand. The fire’s cause is under investigation and the company pledged full effort to recover.
