The 2025 Korea Our Liquor Festival was held March 14–16 at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul with a record 122 producers and 25,884 visitors. Attendees sampled a wide range of traditional Korean alcoholic beverages—takju (unfiltered rice wine), gwasilju (fruit wine), distilled spirits, yakju (refined rice wine) and more—at manufacturer booths and a Traditional Liquor Gallery tasting. Foreign visitors and Millennials showed strong interest: examples included a Spanish visitor excited about makgeolli (milky rice beer) and participants trying hands-on makgeolli-making with nuruk (fermentation starter) and godubap (steamed rice). Producers reported more detailed consumer questions about ingredients and pairings, and some stalls highlighted local, sustainable projects such as strawberry wine made from surplus Seosan fruit. The festival also hosted export-promotion programs, trend seminars and public consulting to help producers expand into overseas markets.
