Rising Star Award went to Ban Seong-yeon, CEO of DALBA Global, recognized for strong short-term financial results and growth potential. Before launching DALBA in 2016, Ban researched consumer complaints about mist moisturizers that could leave skin drier. After two years she developed a uniform-spray, long-lasting hydration product and introduced the "First Spray Serum" in 2016, which sold over 50 million bottles and became a mega-hit. DALBA continued to solve consumer pain points with innovations like a non-whitening (no white cast) sunscreen, multi-functional serums for hydration and soothing, and combined creams for nutrition and elasticity, establishing the brand as a beauty-industry innovation icon. Ban says she aims to create new product categories and grow DALBA into a global super brand.
