The National Gugak Center will present 'Dadam' (茶談) on November 26 at Yeeumheon, a tea-and-talk style gugak (traditional Korean music) concert featuring architect and gallerist Jeon Hae-gap. Jeon, known for work including Awon Traditional House and Oseu Gallery, will discuss “Culture is the answer,” sharing his philosophy on architecture as a vessel that holds people’s thoughts and the coexistence of art, space, and daily life. The program also includes a performance of Jeong Dae-seok’s geomungo solo 'Surijae,' a piece expressing the Korean aesthetic of living with nature through the geomungo’s delicate resonance. 'Dadam' is the Gugak Center’s signature event pairing a guest speaker with tea to convey gugak’s atmosphere and humanistic insight; admission is free.
