The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra is holding a special conductor fellowship program from February 25 to 27 to train the next generation of conductors. Eight emerging conductors will participate, gaining rehearsal experience and mentorship from music director Jaap van Zweden (a prominent conductor known for his work with major orchestras worldwide). Participants will conduct pieces by Wagner, Mozart, and Bartók, showcasing their skills with the orchestra. The top participant will have the opportunity to conduct at a special concert on February 28 and may be appointed as an associate conductor.
