'Lee Kun-hee Collection' Opens First Overseas Exhibition in Washington, D.C.

The National Museum of Korea and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art announced that the special exhibition “Treasures of Korea: Collecting, Caring, and Sharing” opens on Nov. 15 at the National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, D.C. This is the first overseas showing of the 'Lee Kun-hee Collection' donated to the nation by the late Samsung chairman Lee Kun-hee and his family. The exhibit presents important Korean artworks and cultural treasures, offering international visitors a rare look at Korea’s artistic heritage.
