First Overseas Exhibit of the 'Lee Kun-hee Collection' Opens in Washington, D.C.

The National Museum of Korea and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art announced that a special exhibition titled 'Treasures of Korea: Collecting, Caring, Sharing' opens on Nov. 15 at the National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, D.C. This marks the first overseas showing of the 'Lee Kun-hee Collection'—artworks donated to the nation by the late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee and his family. (Lee Kun-hee Collection refers to a vast donation of Korean art and artifacts made by the former Samsung chairman.)
