"Happy Sharing" Jeju Kimchi-Making Festival to Be Held at LetsRun Park on the 20th

The "2025 Happy Sharing Jeju Kimjang Festival" will take place on the 20th from 10:00 to 18:00 at LetsRun Park Jeju in Aewol, Jeju City. Co-hosted by multiple local organizations including the Korea Racing Authority (Jeju branch) and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Jeju), the community-focused charity event invites anyone to participate. Attendees will help prepare 10,000 heads of kimchi (kimjang — traditional Korean communal kimchi-making) to be distributed to 5,300 vulnerable households across the island, including low-income families with children, facilities for people with disabilities, elderly living alone, and victims of crime. Traditional Korean music performances (gugak) by artists Nam Sang-il and Park Ae-ri are also scheduled. Organizers said the festival aims to support socially disadvantaged residents and continue warm community outreach.
