KCA (Korean Consumer Assessment) released partial results of the 2025 KCIA Korean Consumer Industry Awards for “Online Store” in the lifestyle sector. Organized by the Korea Consumers’ Council, the evaluation aims to reflect consumers’ eight fundamental rights and provide objective information to improve daily shopping quality. Amid growing digital shopping, the program annually selects online stores that received high consumer ratings. Pre-surveys from July to September used portal-site review counts by product category to shortlist candidates, who were then evaluated based on actual user experience. Final awards were decided on four criteria: product satisfaction, delivery satisfaction, complaint response, and overall rating. KCA noted that consumers now choose channels based on convenience, reliability and personalization, and that retailers are responding with faster delivery, better products and friendlier customer service. The organization also said it will support low-income families through Sarangui Yeolmae (’Fruit of Love’, a Korean charity) by funding child sponsorship programs that provide living, education and medical support to vulnerable children and adolescents.
