In South Korea, Coupang Eats, following in the footsteps of Baemin (a popular food delivery app), has introduced a 'win-win fee plan' aimed at alleviating the financial burden on small food business owners. This new model will reduce intermediary fees and delivery charges for businesses with lower sales. This approach is anticipated to help address the widening gap between large franchise operations and individual eateries. The new fee structure categorizes businesses into four tiers based on sales volume, applying reduced fees and delivery costs accordingly.
