Kempinski hotel representatives held a press meeting on Nov. 12 in Jongno, Seoul to promote the European luxury brand in the Korean market. Founded in 1897 in Berlin as a wine shop, Kempinski evolved into one of Europe’s oldest luxury hotel groups and now operates over 80 hotels in 35 countries. Sales and marketing leaders from four Southeast Asian Kempinski hotels (Siam Kempinski Bangkok, Sindhorn Kempinski Bangkok, The Capitol Kempinski Singapore, and The Apurva Kempinski Bali) described efforts to make every stay an "artful performance," reflecting Kempinski’s philosophy. Regional sales director Khun Top emphasized respect for local cultures while growing as a global luxury brand and called Korea an important market for increased sales and marketing activities. The delegation also met with local travel agency partners to discuss sales cooperation and expanding partnerships to strengthen Kempinski’s presence and recognition in Korea.
