CJ CheilJedang launches kids brand 'Pookie Rookie' with frozen soups and rice

CJ CheilJedang launched a kids-focused food brand called Pookie Rookie, featuring sea-animal siblings 'Pookie' and 'Rookie' to appeal to young children. The first products are frozen soup and instant rice made from Korean ingredients and designed to be mild and healthy. The soup product is a salt-free, additive-free beef bone broth made only with domestically raised antibiotic-free Hanwoo beef from the 'Green Hanwoo' (녹색한우) cooperative in Jeollanam-do. The instant rice uses 100% domestically grown organic rice certified as processed organic food and is offered in a 130g child-sized portion, with added organic citrus scent for aroma. To celebrate the launch, CJ will run online events and giveaways, including character stickers and discounts via Naver live commerce and CJ The Market. CJ says the brand aims to provide parents with safe, convenient meal options for busy households.
