CJ CheilJedang launches 'PookiRooki' kids brand with salt-free beef bone soup and organic rice

CJ CheilJedang introduced a new baby-food brand called PookiRooki, named after two sea‑otter characters created by the company to appeal to young children. The debut lineup includes a Hanwoo (Korean beef) sagol-gomtang (beef bone broth) and 100% organic rice. For the soup, CJ used antibiotic-free Hanwoo from Jeollanam-do and removed salt, additives and seasonings so it’s suitable for infants and can also be used as a neutral cooking stock. The organic rice is certified and blended with an organic variety for a nutty aroma; each pack is 130g (about a small bowl). CJ plans to expand the range (including kimchi), and will run launch promotions and discounts via Naver Live Commerce and CJ The Market.
