AliExpress has launched AliExpress Travel in Korea, positioning itself beyond a shopping platform to offer integrated travel experiences. Launched at the Seoul International Travel Fair in June, the service bundles flights, hotels and attraction tickets through a unified booking system linked with Fliggy, covering over 1.5 million hotels, 25,000 direct flights and 8,000 attractions. Localized features such as a 24-hour Korean-language customer center and launch promotions (e.g., Travel Day 50% off flights) helped rapid adoption. AliExpress Travel added group tours (e.g., Shanghai–Suzhou–Hangzhou, Qingdao–Yantai, Gansu–Dunhuang) and focuses on short 2–3 day itineraries for quick getaways, offering emotional and hands-on experiences. It promotes a seamless journey from online booking to real-life travel and review sharing, emphasizing convenience, participation and memory-making rather than just low prices.
