Korean Airlines Host Japanese Travel Agents for Busan FAM Tour to Promote City

Korean Air, together with Jin Air and Air Busan, invited about 20 travel agents from major Japanese firms (including JTB, HIS, Kinki Nippon Tourist) for a three-day Busan FAM tour from Nov. 10–12. Participants visited signature sites such as Haeundae Beach, Yongdusan Park, Haedong Yonggungsa (a seaside Buddhist temple), and local neighborhoods and markets like Jeonpo Cafe Street, Nampo-dong, Bujeon Market and Jagalchi Market to experience Busan’s coastal scenery, modern city culture and culinary offerings. Japanese agents said Busan’s combination of blue sea, nature and urban sophistication would appeal to Japanese tourists. Korean Air expects the tour to spur new Japan–Busan travel products and strengthen airline partnerships to boost tourism and local economy.
