Nexon’s Hit 'Mabinogi Mobile' Wins Korea’s Top Game Award

Nexon’s remake Mabinogi Mobile won the President’s Award at the 2025 Korea Game Awards held at BEXCO, Busan on June 12. Developed by DevCAT and released domestically on March 27, the mobile and PC MMORPG is a modern reinterpretation of Nexon’s 2004 title Mabinogi. The game took home three honors overall — the President’s Award plus Technology & Scenario and Sound categories — marking Nexon’s first presidential win since Dungeon & Fighter Mobile in 2022. The Korea Game Awards, organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism sponsor) and run by the Korea Association of Game Industry, is the country’s most prestigious annual award for domestically released games.
