Kyochon F&B reported Q3 consolidated revenue of 135.2 billion KRW, up 6.0% year-on-year, and operating profit of 11.3 billion KRW, a 47.2% increase. The company attributed the improvement to higher chicken sales driven by government-issued consumer stimulus coupons, peak summer demand (복날), the ‘chimaek’ (chicken and beer) festival, and sports marketing. New product launches like Mara Red and Honey Garlic, plus growth in new businesses such as sauces, buckwheat snack (메밀단편), and craft beer, also boosted sales. A prior one-off cost from converting regional headquarters to direct management last year created a low base that helped operating profit grow double digits. Kyochon expects continued momentum into Q4 from the APEC-driven “K-chicken” buzz, year-end seasonality, and rollout of new brands like Memil Danpyeon and Sosit.
