Kumho Resort was named No.1 in the resort (condo-style) category of the 2025 Korean Standard-Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) for the fourth consecutive year. KS-SQI is a service-quality measure developed by the Korean Standards Association and Seoul National University, based on surveys of actual customers. Kumho has held the top spot 10 times since 2015, highlighting consistent service strength. The company emphasizes a comfortable stay combining nature, leisure and relaxation, and has upgraded facilities and customer-focused services since being acquired by Kumho Petrochemical Group in 2021. Each resort offers regionally themed amenities and programs — for example, Tongyeong Marina Resort has modern yachts with sea views, and Seorak Resort features a park golf course against Ulsanbawi Mountain. Dining uses seasonal local ingredients, and water parks and a new kids’ activity zone at Asan Spafore enhance family offerings. Kumho also pursues ESG-driven, eco-friendly operations: Asianna CC uses AI drones and microbial treatments for sustainable course management. Service Leaders trained by Kumho are placed across six sites to monitor feedback, coach staff and ensure quality. CEO Kim Sung-il said the award reflects strong customer trust and pledged continued focus on evolving customer experiences.
