To mark its 10th anniversary, South Korea’s National Asia Culture Center (ACC) stages 'Remapping ASIA: Three Directing Perspectives' from Nov 13–15 at the ACC Arts Theatre. Collaborating with Taiwan’s National Theater, directors from Korea, Taiwan and Thailand developed work through a two‑year workshop exploring shared Asian themes such as war, isolation and shamanism. Taiwanese director Weng Shini presents “Don’t Forget Me” (Nov 13,15), examining war memory and solidarities across Taiwanese, Filipino and Korean perspectives. Thai director Wain Chakon Chamai stages “Midday, and Fragile Things Drifting in Space: Next, Jump! Jump!! Jump!!!” (Nov 14–15), which probes urban isolation under capitalist modernity. Korean director Oh Sehyuk offers “Anti‑Shaman Shaman Club” (Nov 14–15, Theatre 2), a piece linking martial law and shamanism (shamanism: Korean folk spiritual practices) to show communal resilience amid repression. Tickets are 20,000 won, with a 50% discount for a three‑show package. ACC hopes the festival will let audiences feel Asia’s shared memories and creative energy.
