Around 300 Join Jeju Dolharubang Park's 'Stone Running' Myth Experience

About 300 locals and tourists joined a 'Stone Running' event at Jeju Dolmen Cultural Park to experience the island's creation myths while running. The event offered two courses—5 km Stone Running and a 2 km Family Run—where participants warmed up with a running coach, received medals and souvenirs after finishing, and floated boats on the Sky Pond to make wishes. The day ended with a garden party, DJ performance by Han Mandogi, and music by Jeju-language band South Carnival (사우스카니발). Park director Kim Dong-hee said the program was designed to let visitors enjoy cultural resources in new ways and to position the park as a mixed-use cultural space, responding to a running trend popular among the MZ generation (Millennials and Gen Z).
