At Oakwood Premier Incheon’s Panoramic 65, a tasting dinner paired five expressions of The GlenGrant (10, 12, 15, 18 and 21 years) with a five-course menu against sweeping views of Songdo at night. The event, held October 28 in the Korea Unique Venue (코리아 유니크 베뉴) space, began with a GlenGrant 10 highball matched with avocado-and-caviar tacos, whose citrus notes brightened the creamy flavors. The GlenGrant 12 accompanied scallop mousse and mushroom agnolotti, highlighting honey, vanilla and ripe pear aromas. A ginger-scented octopus dish paired with the spicy, smooth GlenGrant 15. The centerpiece—medium-rare filet mignon—was matched with the 18-year-old, whose dried fruit, nutty and oak notes balanced the meat’s juices. Dessert paired the 21-year-old, with caramel and tropical fruit complexity, with a cheese mousse cake. The evening combined whisky “time,” the chef’s cooking and 65th-floor night views to create a memorable autumn experience.
