Daegu Modern History Museum will run four children's workshops on Nov. 15 and 22 tied to its special exhibition 'City Factory Chimneys, Machine Sounds — Reading Modern Daegu Textiles.' The program explores how Daegu grew as a textile city, stories of factory founding, and types of traditional textiles. Children then make dreamcatchers using 'yangmalkmok' (socks fabric scraps) to enjoy the exhibit hands-on while learning about recycling and resource use. Sessions are at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM in the museum’s 2nd-floor cultural classroom, for about 10 family teams (ages 9–12), free of charge. To apply, call 053-430-7913 or 7914. Participation limited to one session per person.
