&TEAM, HYBE’s Japan-origin global group, landed in Korea with their first Korean mini-album Back to Life, selling 1.22 million copies in its first week. The group topped two Korean music shows and major Japanese charts, becoming the first Japan-origin artist to achieve consecutive million-sellers in both countries. Forbes noted their rapid global impact and called their Japan-to-Korea strategy a new model for K-pop expansion. A NHK (Nihon TV) documentary chronicling the members’ 100-day training, rehearsals and Korean language study helped build international fan empathy and support.
