Hyundai, Government and Partners Agree to Expand Hydrogen Bus Network in Seoul Metropolitan Area

Hyundai Motor hosted a signing ceremony in Seoul for a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy, K1 Mobility Group, HyNet (Hydrogen Energy Network), and the Korea Automobile Environment Association to expand hydrogen buses on metropolitan routes. The partnership aims to introduce more hydrogen-powered buses across the Seoul Capital Area by coordinating vehicle supply, infrastructure (hydrogen refueling stations), and operating plans. Attendees included senior executives from Hyundai and partner organizations and a government green transition official. The deal supports South Korea’s push for low-emission public transit and wider adoption of hydrogen mobility.
