Seoul Arts Center’s “Special The Next” recital series spotlights next-generation violinists Kim Seohyun and Lim Dokyung. Kim performs on Nov 15 with pianist Ilya Rashkovsky, presenting works by Debussy, Prokofiev, and Bartók; she is a prizewinner of major competitions including the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition (youngest-ever winner) and recently signed with HarrisonParrott (a leading classical management firm). Lim appears on Nov 20 with pianist Park Young-sung, performing sonatas by Beethoven, Poulenc, and Fauré; he won the Michael Hill International Violin Competition and the 2024 Stuttgart International Violin Competition and has released acclaimed albums “Amabile” and “Rêverie.” The concerts are part of the venue’s effort to introduce internationally recognized young (10–20s) performers to Korean audiences.
