In Seoul, natural cosmetics brand ISOI runs T-ference, a K-beauty experiential space offering purple tea-based skincare and beverages. The brand’s signature program is a ‘T-makase’ (tea + omakase) tasting menu that pairs seasonal purple tea (a high-altitude tea rich in anthocyanins) drinks and desserts with a wellness-focused narrative. Courses include yuzu purple milk tea with scone, a vanilla-coco purple tea cocktail, forest gelato with purple tuile, and oat-pumpkin purple lattes—designed by in-house baristas to evoke forest-like relaxation. T-ference’s two Seoul locations draw about 30,000 visitors yearly, including many foreigners, and often lead to product purchases. The “inner-beauty” (consuming products for health and skin) market is booming globally, with forecasts projecting growth from $4.8 billion last year to $11.5 billion by 2033.
