Kia plans to launch five major new models across key global markets next year to drive sales growth. In South Korea, Kia will release a fully redesigned Seltos (first hybrid version included) and a refreshed Niro, strengthening its compact SUV lineup. Production will take place at AutoLand Hwasung and AutoLand Gwangju plants. In the U.S., a redesigned Telluride (also adding a hybrid for the first time) will debut at the LA Auto Show and go on sale next year. Europe will get the smaller electric compact SUV EV2 to appeal to strong demand for small EVs, while India will receive an electric version of the Siros small SUV. Kia’s emphasis on hybrids and EVs aims to boost near-term sales and address stricter carbon rules and tariff risks (e.g., U.S. tariffs). The company’s regional strategy and localized production should help manage policy uncertainties and accelerate global recovery in sales.
