Honorstone and Gwangjuyo Release 'RYUN' Memorial Urn Blending Tradition and Art

Honorstone, a premium memorial venue, teamed up with Gwangjuyo (a renowned Korean ceramics brand) and Yongin Park Group to launch a limited-edition memorial urn called 'RYUN' (련). The collaboration combines Yongin Park Group’s 50-year funeral service experience with Gwangjuyo’s 60-year mastery of traditional Korean ceramics to present a premium, artful approach to remembrance. 'RYUN,' themed 'Always Remembered,' is a 24-sided white porcelain urn fired above 1,260°C for durability and glazed with Gwangjuyo’s signature 'Seol-bit-yu' (설빛유) finish inspired by Joseon-era white porcelain. The urn features a double-sealed, waterproof and insect-resistant structure to preserve remains. An exhibition titled 'From Earth to Earth: Crafting the Meaning of Ossuaries' at Honorstone displays the piece. The release reflects shifting memorial trends favoring indoor, design-forward remembrance and Honorstone’s goal to elevate memorial rituals into cultural and artistic experiences, supported by services like the AI memorial platform 'Soul Link' and personalized memorial tables 'Honor Table.'
