K-beauty beauty devices are driving a surge in tourists visiting flagship experience stores in Seoul. Mediheal owner APR reports that its Mediqube (brand) flagship ‘Space Dosan’ in Apgujeong saw foreign sales rise from 63% to 79% of sales year-on-year, with foreign revenue up over 480% and Chinese tourist spending up eightfold. At the store, devices like the Age-R Booster Pro account for over 44% of sales as visitors test gadgets in-store to see immediate results and trust the technology before purchasing. APR plans a third Seoul location in Seongsu-dong later this year. (Apgujeong and Seongsu-dong are neighborhoods in Seoul.)
