Nongshim, a leading Korean food company, is establishing a local branch in the Netherlands as part of its effort to expand into the European market. The company plans to showcase its popular products such as Shin Ramyun and Shin Ramyun Tumba, aiming to capture the growing demand for ramen in Europe. With significant sales growth in the region over the past years, Nongshim's new office will concentrate on managing the market's demands and expanding distribution networks. By 2030, the company targets $300 million in sales in Europe. The move is also part of a larger strategy to increase its global presence, as domestic market growth is limited. Additionally, Nongshim is expanding Shin Ramyun Tumba to markets in Australia, Japan, and the United States, focusing on overseas revenue to improve profitability, similar to competitor Samyang Foods' success with their "Buldak Bokkeum Myun (Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen)."
