The 2025 Shinhan Solmate·Seoul Economy Park Golf Masters, sponsored by Shinhan Financial Group and hosted by Seoul Economic Daily, concluded after two days in Yangpyeong County with about 400 players from 17 provinces competing. The tournament, elevated this year with the Korea Park Golf Association as co-organizer, drew large crowds and close contests. Men’s champion was Lim Hu-bin (67, Yangpyeong) and women’s champion was Lee Sang-ho (71, Yangpyeong). Past winner Kim Yo-suk (63, Seoul) finished runner-up in the women’s event. Organizers say the event has matured into a bona fide major tournament, boosting participants’ confidence and raising the national profile of park golf (a relaxed, outdoor sport similar to golf played with shorter courses and modified equipment).
