C&C International, a South Korean ODM (original design manufacturing) cosmetics firm, has recruited John Zenovis—co‑founder of Rhode (co-founded with Hailey Bieber)—as an outside director and head of a newly formed Global Brand Support Group. Zenovis, known for building Rhode’s early business model and selling it to e.l.f. Beauty for about $1 billion, will lead efforts to help C&C’s clients enter overseas markets and design global marketing strategies. The move signals C&C’s shift from a pure manufacturer to an incubator and marketing partner for global brands, leveraging Zenovis’s experience and connections through One Luxury Group (OLG) and existing ties with major shareholder Ascent Equity Partners.
