The 2025 Content Universe Korea festival continued at Goyang Ilsan Lake Park’s Goyang Flower Exhibition Hall, shifting focus from AI-led industry programs to subculture, fandom and creator-driven events. The “COS Festa” brought global cosplay (costume play) figures and panels discussing cosplay’s growth as a form of self-expression, highlighted by a cosplay runway and a live idol opening by Rekirem. The Techporia Hall hosted UNICON, a national university indie game showcase where 69 teams from 24 schools demoed unreleased games and competed for awards, promoting direct interaction between young developers and visitors. Forums at the Aurora Hall examined strategies for combining fandom, local festivals and tourism, and how AI and VFX reshape storytelling. Exhibits and experience zones — including VR nostalgia booths, metaverse virtual studios and cosplay merchandise — were open free via QR registration. The event emphasizes the “Multiple” content era where anyone can create and enjoy imaginative media.
