Bonghwa County has begun the trial operation of the Munsusan Forest Welfare Complex, a multifunctional facility combining forest recreation and healing functions, before its official opening in May. Located across 100 hectares, the complex offers various health and healing programs, supported by facilities like health check rooms and foot bath areas. It also features educational spaces with a wildflower garden and log playgrounds for children, plus forest healing programs led by certified instructors. The trial phase aims to gather visitor feedback to enhance safety and service quality by the official launch.
