“New Artists Exhibition” showcases young painters from Gangwon (age 39 and under, with one or fewer solo shows). For many, the memory of their first sale is unforgettable — a moment when someone recognized their value and gave them the courage to buy more paint and keep working. Buying a piece from an emerging artist means trusting a new sensibility and giving the artist the vital support to persist. The show runs at the Gangwon Design Promotion Institute through November 2.
