Seocho District will hold the second annual '2025 Cheonggerowa Festival' on November 1 around Cheonggye Mountain, a popular autumn hiking spot. Cheonggerowa (a local brand name blending 'come relax' and 'come here') aims to boost neighborhood businesses and invite visitors to enjoy leisure. Events include trekking, an art market, cultural performances, and promotions for local merchants. A pre-registered group of 300 will hike a 3.7 km route from Wontergol Entrance via Jindallae Ridge to Maebong, joined by comedian Yoon Hyung-bin and a stamp tour. At Cheonggyero Square (Cheonggye Mountain Entrance Station Exit 1), residents and merchants will run the Naegok Open Cultural Yard. Seocho Mayor Jeon Seong-su said last year’s festival energized both the mountain’s profile and local commerce, and this year’s program is richer to help visitors enjoy a short autumn and support neighborhood businesses.
