Paldo on the 30th introduced a microwaveable cup version of its spicy broth ramen 'Namjaramyeon' (a popular Korean spicy noodle brand first released in 2012). The recipe features garlic seasoning in the dough, garlic slices in the garnish powder, and a beef-based broth for a bold, spicy flavor. The new cup uses a microwave-safe container: pour hot water and heat about 2 minutes 30 seconds to achieve a chewy, packet-style noodle texture. Paldo plans a premium packet (bag) ramen release later this year and will expand online and offline marketing. The company also announced a social campaign with Korean MLB player Lee Jung-hoo (이정후) to donate 51 boxes of Namjaramyeon monthly to children in need through September next year—matching his jersey number 51.
