'Chainsaw Man' Exhibition Extended Two Weeks to Nov 23; Popular Merchandise RestockedCreatrip Team
a month ago
The TV anime Chainsaw Man exhibition in Seoul has been extended from Nov 9 to Nov 23 due to strong demand following the movie's box-office success (the film has 2.57 million Korean viewers as of Oct 29, 2025). Opened July 19 at DUEX Hongdae 2, the show recreates key scenes from episodes 1–12 and features life-size figures (Chainsaw Man, Makima, Power, Hayakawa Aki), original animation cels, concept art, storyboards, character sheets, behind-the-scenes videos by MAPPA (the studio), and multiple photo zones. High visitor numbers—over 1,000 per day during the Chuseok holiday—led organizers to restock some sold-out goods and allow visitors to access the merchandise shop with proof of prior admission (physical ticket or booking). Tickets are available via Naver Reservations and Interpark (NolTicket). The exhibition celebrates Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga, serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ (cumulative manga sales over 30 million).
