The original cast and new performers will reunite for the musical Sisyphus, running Dec 16, 2025–Mar 8, 2026 at YES24 Stage 2 in Seoul’s Daehangno. Inspired by Albert Camus’s The Stranger and the Greek myth of Sisyphus, the original Korean musical features four actors singing about meaning and hope in a ruined world, urging audiences to live passionately despite repetitive life. Returning creators include writer-director Chu Jeong-hwa and composer Heo Su-hyun; new cast members such as Kang Ha-kyung, Ri Hei, and Park Yu-deok join veterans Lee Hyung-hoon, Song Yoo-taek, and Jo Hwan-ji. The show, which won three awards at the Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) and was selected for government-supported regional distribution, aims to deepen its themes with richer performances and music.
