Ovang, a natural K-beauty brand that uses moisture from Jeju cactus (Jeju prickly pear) instead of purified water, has relaunched in South Korea after gaining recognition in New York clinics. The FDA-cleared line was acquired by Acro Jeju following the previous owner’s financial troubles. Acro Jeju says Ovang’s Jeju-sourced ingredients and brand story will resonate at home; the relaunch debuted at the 17th Beautiful Jeju International Marathon on October 26, where the flagship Bakuchiol Cactus Skin Repair Cream — an all-in-one soothing, moisturizing and firming cream for all ages — was introduced. Ovang plans to expand its “Skin Ritual” presence across premium offline venues (5-star hotels, duty-free stores), dermatology and hanbang dermatology clinics (traditional Korean medicine dermatology), and experiential spaces focused on skin balance and life-balance.
