A photo exhibition titled “Yangyang: From Sea to Culture – A 10-Year Record” runs Oct 28–Nov 3 on the 4th floor of Ssamziegil in Insadong, Seoul. Organized by Yangyang County and the Yangyang Surfing Association, the show looks back on the decade since the first Yangyang Surf Festival in 2014 and documents how surfing expanded into a broader marine leisure culture in Yangyang. The exhibit features images and materials showing high-level competitions, community and youth growth, environmental initiatives, and the changing beaches shaped by surfers and residents. Visitors can join on-site events: an SNS (social media) verification event that awards a commemorative beach bag to early participants, and a quiz-card activity that gives out limited commemorative goods.
