A solo exhibition by artist Park Sun-bae is on display at Chuncheon Museum through the 29th, showcasing works that reinterpret Chuncheon’s nature and everyday life through the artist’s candid perspective. The show features paintings capturing seasonal changes of Daeryong Mountain, wildflowers, and fleeting daily scenes. Works span the artist’s career and media—1970s oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, oil pastel, and hanji (traditional Korean paper)—offering a layered view of Park’s artistic development. Rich textures and color harmonies convey the passage of seasons and natural shifts with a restrained, heartfelt approach. Art critic Lee Jae-eon praised the exhibition for its unembellished naturalness and consistent artistic core developed over 25 years.
