Gyeongbuk Cultural Tourism Agency announced special performances and an exhibition to mark the 2025 APEC leaders' meeting, aiming to introduce Korea’s traditional culture and artistic imagination to international visitors. The National Jeongdong Theater will stage the new play "Dansim" (單沈) as an official APEC-linked event at Gyeongju Expo Park’s Munmu Hall from Oct 31 to Nov 4. At the Solgeo Museum in Gyeongju Expo Park, the APEC special exhibition "Silla Han-hyang (新羅韓香) — The Scent of Korea in Silla" runs through April next year, featuring works by master Korean painter Park Dae-seong, Buddhist icon-painter monk Songcheon, painting-restorer Kim Min, and recycled-glass artist Park Sun-min. The program highlights Silla’s cultural spirit and seeks to project Korea’s artistic strengths onto the global stage.
