Cebu Pacific Airlines and IRC (Island Resort Club) launched "Manila Premium Golf" with a 3-night media familiarization trip for Korean press from Oct 24–27. The program inspected and interviewed GMs at partner golf clubs and hotels, including Eagles Ridge Golf Club (이글릿지골프클럽), Sherwood Hills Golf Club (셔우드힐스골프클럽), Intramuros Golf Club (인트라무로스골프클럽), Sabea Bay City Manila Hotel (사베아베이시티마닐라호텔), The Bayleaf Cavite Hotel (더베이리프 카비테호텔) and Microtel by Wyndham Eagles Ridge (마이크로텔바이윈덤이글릿지호텔). Participants attended on-site rounds at Eagles Ridge and Sherwood Hills to evaluate product value. IRC CEO Choi Hyuk said the “triple-crown” alliance of airline, courses, and hotels improves credibility and competitiveness by solving long travel distances between hotels and courses and offering better access. Cebu Pacific’s Korea head Kang Hyuk-shin highlighted a generous baggage allowance (one checked bag up to 24kg) for sports equipment and promised industry support and future trade fam trips to reestablish Manila golf travel standards and aid Philippine tourism recovery.
