The Michelin Guide Korea is holding a cover design contest to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Seoul & Busan edition. Open to students enrolled in Korean universities and graduate schools, the competition invites entries through December 23 with winners announced in mid-January 2026. The theme, “A Decade’s Journey,” asks for original covers that reflect the past ten years of Korea’s dynamic culinary scene and its future. Submissions will be judged on relevance to the theme, creativity and originality, expressive power, and adherence to production guidelines. The grand-prize design will become the official cover of the special 2026 edition; the winner receives 2,000,000 KRW and an invitation to the book launch. Michelin says the contest aims to spotlight young Korean talent and celebrate the growth of Korea’s gastronomy over the past decade.
