The 2025 Eco Art Fair 'Flow', hosted by Gangwon Domin Ilbo and organized by Gangwon Happiness Era, opened at the Gangwon Design Center in Chuncheon on Oct. 24 and runs through Nov. 2. The region’s largest art market featured 62 artists and about 300 works, including artifacts from the Yanggu White Porcelain Museum (Yanggu baekja bangmulgwan). The opening included a healing performance by singer-songwriter Han Bona, awards for the Gangwon Emerging Artists Competition—grand prize winner Im Yun-mi, a farmer-artist from Pyeongchang—and a ceremonial tea offering (heondarye, a ritual of presenting tea) to pray for ecological and artistic wellbeing. Curated programs, collaborations with local institutions and upcoming workshops and talks aim to strengthen Gangwon’s art ecosystem and reshape perceptions about the region’s cultural scale and quality.
