JOLSE, a K-beauty accelerator run by Barunson, analyzed its sales data to reveal global K-beauty trends for Q3. Consumers increasingly favored ingredients that strengthen the skin barrier and retain moisture—such as Centella asiatica (healing plant extract) and hyaluronic acid—driven by a rise in sensitive skin concerns and interest in vegan/clean beauty. Top-selling individual items were skin-calming and moisturizing products like Skin1004 Centella Hyalu-Cica Waterfit Sun Serum and Doctor Elsea 345 Relief Cream. By category, serums and ampoules made up 21% of sales, followed by creams (18%), makeup (13%), and sun care (11%). Skin1004 was the best-selling brand, accounting for 35% of the top 10 brands’ sales. JOLSE says low-irritation, vegan formulas with high functionality are expanding across skincare and color makeup, supporting continued K-beauty growth.
